We help ...

Amateur radio operators have provided their facilities and expertise to maintain the basic communication between victims, relatives and helpers during sad events, such as the earthquakes in central Italy and Armenia, the avalanche disaster of Galtür or the tsunami in Southeast Asia.

Radio amateurs also maintain contact with expeditions that are located in areas without telecommunications network. You will be able to profit on the training and experience as a radio amateur as well at work.

Info:

Amateur Radio operators come from all walks of life — doctors, students, kids, politicians, truck drivers, movie stars, missionaries and even your average neighbor next door. They are of all ages, sexes, income levels and nationalities. Whether through Morse Code on an old brass telegraph key, voice communication on a hand-held radio or computerized messages transmitted via satellite, all hams use radio to reach out to the world.

Before you can do anything, you need to get an Amateur Radio license. Once you have your license, the rest is up to you. What you do next depends on what sort of equipment you intend to use and what type of communication you’d like to try.  Contact us for more Information.

QSL cards are radio confirmations (worldwide) and a very important part of amateur radio operating the DX (distance is used by amateur radio as a term for radio communications over long distances). They provide a written proof of a radio link. The service is included in the A.R.I  member fee and amateur radio operators thus are able to save expensive postage costs.
